A Place To Eat

“ggbfbbtehetbwrnblfvnf feougbnfebenbeob”

That’s how I feel today. It’s unfortunate because it is a very nice day. We all have these type of days, regardless of what the weather is like.

I want to share something. A nice, chill Sunday morning spot.

This place is located in San Francisco and it is DELICIOUS. It’s a restaurant with a cafe feel. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it. I can’t wait to eat Toast in a couple of weeks. If you go, YOU WANT the Church Street Omelet. I’ll leave it at that.

Speaking of SF, still in the planning stages for the adventure in two weeks.

Since it’s on my mind…

Happy Tuesday Folks.

Today Is A Slow Day

FINALLY, one of my favorite teams won a game. Granted, USC did not start the game well last night. They gave up 14 points in a span of three minutes against Utah.  Utah was one of three teams I was scared to face this year. The trip to the Pacific Northwest is always a problem for USC. This year they are headed to the University of Washington. The last team? The home game against Oregon.

What a week it has been. Since SUNDAY, my Raiders lost, the Angels didn’t make the playoffs and the icing on the cake? BOTH division rivals(Rangers and A’s) made the playoffs. I work with Giants and A’s fans. I can’t wait for this postseason to be over. Like I mentioned before, the quicker the A’s and Giants get eliminated, I’ll be happy again.

This weekend should be a good one. Bay Area trip and just relaxing. I’m also taking a breaking a break from drinking. That’s how messed up this week has been.

I’m keeping this post short and sweet. It’s Friday. I’ll be back better than ever next week.

After reading my guest post, Josh said I have many female friends. Yes, it’s true.

My only respectable response?

Yeah, I’m that awesome.

Have a good weekend!

Do You Believe In Miracles? YES!!!!!

Yesterday, yours truly and about 11 other loveable misfits had some fun tailgating at the Raiders/Steelers game. The day went so smoothly compared to other tailgating adventures we have had. We actually arrived in Oakland on time (first time ever).

I have never seen anything like this before. It was pretty awesome though.

Taligating taken to another level.

Greg, the leader of the tailgate, received so many compliments about this. I don’t blame them,  the bar came with the stools AND the umbrella. I have no idea what to expect for next season. It should be interesting.

The tailgate was fun though, just food and booze everywhere. The weather was AMAZING also.

Then it was game time. It was a great game from the start. Non-stop scoring, defense was optional.

Big Ben at work.

Unfortunately, I guess the game was just a bit much for some people. I’m amazed how he found time for a nap. I didn’t sleep, I was witnessing a Miracle in Oakland.

Joe's look is priceless.

Joe’s look is priceless.

Even though defense was optional, the Raiders made stops  when they had to. When they did, it led to this perfect set-up for SeBass.

Game winning kick.

Game winning kick.

It was PANDEMONEIUM!!! The crowd went wild.

While waiting for the crowd to clear, we were able to get a group shot.

Victory group.

Victory group.

The final is scored tucked away in the upper left.

It was a great day. Afterwards we went to San Francisco…for five minutes. I was able to get this awesome picture though…

Bay Bridge

Bay Bridge

My picture skills are horrible, but I love this picture of the Bay Bridge.

After that minor detour, we went to In-N-Out for some grub and made our way back to Sacramento.

My Sunday started at 4:55am and ended at 11pm. It was a long day, but a successful one.

BONUS??? I didn’t get hammered, which is always good.

Double Bonus???? Old High School folks came up from San Pedro for the game.

Class of 2003

Triple Bonus??????? Ryan and Cindy FINALLY showed up. Better late than never right?

Cindy the chick, Ryan throwing gang signs.

Happy Monday!

MIRACLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Viernes, Viernes, Viernes

Just in case you forgot, I work graveyard shifts. Here is some good reading as proof: Sleep? Not Really In My Vocabulary.  I didn’t get home till about 5:30/6 this morning. After a hard-earned 8 hours, I pretty much deserved a donut. A chocolate bar and dozen donut holes satisfied my stomach. Honestly, that was the first time I had donuts in about three months.

Want to know how I felt? I thought about my second favorite TV character, Ron Swanson:

The best part about this skit, the Tiger Woods killer polo. Second favorite? Him offering to buy a Walkman. Throwback!

Because of that skit, I’m going to wear a red polo this weekend. I might even buy another donut.

OK, this post is written in no particular order, I’m just going with the flow You’ve Been Warned.

Just found out that a good friend is moving back to Sacramento. My best friend is moving to San Francisco by New Years. My cousin will be in Oakland for her birthday next month! I must say, the last months of 2012 will be AWESOME!

Speaking of SF, as much as I don’t want to bore you and tell you I’ll be there tomorrow….I will be there tomorrow. It’s ridiculously hot and I just want to be near the beach. I’ve never been to Baker’s Beach so I’m looking forward to going if the plan holds up.

Sidenote: Have you ever finished eating something good and then end up angry after? I just finished eating a Snickers and now I’m angry cause it’s gone.

Ron Swanson #2

I feel like that right now.

No more Parks and Rec references anymore.

I do have one more video for you though. This song came on my iPod last not. The beauty of putting it on shuffle, you hear things and just laugh or smile.  In this case I just laughed.

I remember this song when I was in the seventh grade. I had no idea what they were talking about yet I knew all the words. Man, good times.

Enjoy the weekend folks!

Friday, Friday, Friday

I took a break from the blog.  It has been a busy two weeks and I had to sacrifice something. I’m back though, better than ever.  I must warn you that I won’t be back until Wednesday. When I come back I shall break down what has been going on. It will include: drinking in SF, football in Berkeley and hanging out in Sacramento. Each one was pretty amazing.

After I post, I will be GONE. I will be out-of-town, it’s been a while since I was able to just get away. I thought to myself, what would be perfect for this. This legend came to mind.

Had to keep it clean for the kids.
Happy Friday!

It’s The Freaking Weekend!!

Time to switch things up. Yesterday I went emotional (I’m sorry) and I promise it won’t happen again (or will it?).

Let’s begin shall we? Has a random question ever popped in your head? Literally, the first thing in the morning?  If you said no, you’re lying.

This was the question that popped in my head this morning…

*40 Sec mark is your goal, but watch the whole thing*

Weird, I know. It’s true though, I haven’t heard from Ja Rule in a long time.

!*!* IT’S THE WEEKEND *!*!*

Who is doing what this weekend? I haven’t checked the weather, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be nice here in the 916. A trip to the Bay Area might be in the works. If you have been reading my posts, you are probably assuming Berkeley or San Francisco. HA!, WRONG, fooled you. Santa Cruz might be in order if everything goes according to plan.

Plans, PLANS and PLANS! Everything in life needs a Plan and a “Plan B’. In this case, I really hope my “Plan B” gets action. I don’t mind trips to the Ocean, but I DO mind paying for gas. Gas is becoming a hassle again. I swear it was $2.50 yesterday…Yeah, I wish we were back in the good ol’ days for that reason alone.

OK, sorry, mind was wandering – PLAN B!

Is the suspense killing you? Ok, it’s nothing major (except for fans). Wait for it…. And it is….

Just missing the booze.

Yup, a Community marathon. Season Three came out earlier this week! I still find it sad that people don’t have love for Community. Unfortunately, smart shows rarely get love.

Changing subjects before I rant, yet again.

Breakdown so far:

Clip of the week: Dave Chappelle

Show of the week: Community

Food of the week: Old-School, Oreo’s

Song of the day………

Andre 3000, always doing his thing. Very talented person, he is going to playing Jimi Hendrix in a biopic. I still don’t know all the details in regards of the movie. I didn’t forget about B.o.B, he is still doing his thing – under the radar.

Enjoy the weekend my fellow humans!

Weirdo Wednesday (With a SF feel)

Wednesday is one of those odd days. It is not far removed from the previous weekend but it’s so close to the new weekend. I’m lost TORN, when we hit the so called “Hump Day“. The torn part? I just finished uploading some awesome pictures from my time in San Francisco this past weekend. I went to the Beer Olympics, the Dodgers/Giants game was expensive. Overall, I lucked out, I saved more money by going to the Olympics. I got this awesome view at the end of drinking extravganza:

Evening scenery

The awesomeness that happened inside? Pictures can only tell you so much. You want an example? You sure? Picture number 1:

Blurry? Yes. Mario’s World? Guys were crazy!

This was at the end of the event. I don’t know who could be reading this, all I can say is – Mario is a sick man.

ON TO THE NEXT ONE!

Where was Batman?

These two were awesome! Selina Kyle (that was the name she gave me) was the nicest person I ever met. Bane? He was cool, actually these are my two new friends (let’s be real, it’s not true unless it’s on Facebook)  in SF.

I’ll show one more, then maybe create a little gallery:

Poor thing, she was the only sober one.

I felt sorry for this little one. She was the DD with her group, but she was happy nonetheless. I would be to, I WANTED that can. I offered 5 bucks but she didn’t want it.

Sidenote: I’m watching Boxing (is it me or has it dropped off) and the American just lost, no manhandled, wait DESTROYED by a Russian. I can’t believed they air this fight.

Moving on:

Weekend was great, I was exhausted, SF treated me awesome like always. My counterparts? Not so much.

THE BEST THING ABOUT TODAY?

Community is coming back October 19th! This brought my spirits up, I was kind of down.

Video for your thoughts since SF is on my mind (I respect the classics):

That’s it, I’m done.

Fantastic Friday, Weekend Fun.

Lot’s to do this weekend, I’m excited! Heading to the Bay Area on Saturday to watch the Dodgers take on the Giants.
That’s the plan at least, we don’t have tickets. Back up plan might be the Beer Olympics at Fort Mason.  Really? Beer Olympics? Let me write that again, BEER OLYMPICS!!!!! @#%# THE WORLD!!!  San Francisco, you never cease to amaze me.

Sad, but true.

SUNDAY:

Heading to the State Fair, it’s the last day. The best day is the last day because you can get deals on food. If it’s not alcohol, then I’m all about the food. The plan is to get a deal on this greatness:

The Big Rib, it’s a big deal.

Overall, here is a nice video for you. Yesterday I gave you a R. Kelly and Dave Chappelle video. Today, I found the video I was thinking of when I posted Dave Chappelle….

>

Say what you, this song is still legit – 12 YEARS LATER!!

R. Kelly , “Feelin’ On Yo Booty”

Folks enjoy your weekend, because I know I will.
